All Fluval Internal Filters are fully submersible. They are ideally suited for standard or specialty shaped aquariums as no tubes or hoses aside from the power cord leave the aquarium. The filter can be attached anywhere in the aquarium, either with the handy rim clamp or positioned anywhere inside the aquarium by the suction cup bracket. Both are included, so the choice is yours!
